EICIM Center for East West Medicine promotes an integrative health model based on rational thinking, contemporary developments, and evidence-based research to not only treat, but also educate to ensure long-term health and disease prevention.
The EICIM Center of East West Medicine aims to develop scientific, educational, preclinical and clinical research and other forms of mutual cooperation in education, both in the formation of new joint educational and clinical institutions, study programs, exchange of scientists, researchers, doctors and students.
Education and training permeate every aspect of the Center's activities. We learn from each individual, and what we learn from each individual improves the quality of care for others. Our work forms a core component of our educational programs and generates the questions we seek to answer in our research. Our ECPD UN education and training programs transform the thinking and clinical care of those who train with us and this creates an educational ripple effect: the doctors and nurses we train become agents of change and leaders in the positive transformation of the health system.
Motivated by such ideas of integration, at the Center we use a systemic approach to respond to the needs of the very complex nature of the person and restore balance and well-being as "a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity".
Our associates educated in Western medicine also have training and experience in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and other scientifically proven approaches to prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, salutogenesis of other medicines such as Ayurveda, homeopathy or folk medicine.
EICIM Center East West Medicine is driven by a vision. We dedicate our passion, talent and commitment to be leaders in integrative medicine for a happy and healthy world.
Our mission is to prepare, at all levels of education, with our partners, such programs that will adequately change the paradigm of medicine in the 21st century in terms of integration into one that is effective, accessible to all and cheaper, enabling candidates to improve their knowledge and start or improve their careers in positions that will improve health services by offering good health care options.
In recent years, the UN ECPD has concluded numerous cooperation agreements in the field of medicine with many universities. In 2017 and 2023, our professors were guests of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (MOST) and the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CACMS) at the first international expert seminar on the integration of medicine in the world (TCM-IATC) within the framework of the "On belt one road" program.
TCM-IATC is organized by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CACMS) with the help of the Center for EAST WEST Medicine (CEWM) of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), which is one of the world's most famous medical centers for integrative medicine.
